About Lesson

I’ll show you how to make a nut shell shaker.

If you like to eat nuts, don’t throw the shells away. Turn them into a shaker. You need:

  • 8-10 walnuts,
  • a branch,
  • colored ribbons and strips,
  • hot glue,
  • scissors,
  • a big nail and
  • a hammer.

You crack the nuts with a nail and a hammer. Take a break and eat the walnuts. Then cut the ribbons and make some knots at each end. You’ll have to glue them inside the nuts. Tie them to one end of the branch. You can use some elastic bands to fix them. Decorate the branch with some colored strings. There you go. Enjoy the nut shell shaker and good appetite!
