I structured this course ‘Music in our everyday life’ in four main topics. Each topic has some questions which are addressed in the course content. The first course’s main question is ‘Why we listen to music?’ and many theoretical and empirical answers were presented. The second course is related to musical preferences and here the main question was ‘Which are the factors that are associated with our musical preferences?’. In the third course I approached a theme which I found to be very interesting and relates to the way music influences our consumer behavior. Here, the main questions were ‘What are the main influences and how much of our consumer is influenced by music’? The fourth theme of this course highlights a very particular influence of music in our life, particularly the ‘peak experience/strong music experiences’ which we can feel while engaging with music.
